Bob McKinnon

Independent Chair

Bob McKinnon has more than 40 years’ experience in the financial services, property and technology sectors. He is currently a Director at Mirin Group, a boutique technology advisory firm operating across the Asia Pacific and is also a Non-Executive Director of several ASX-listed and unlisted companies in the technology, financial services and engineering sectors, including AMP Capital Funds Management Limited (AMPCFM), including Chair of AMPCFM’s Board Audit & Risk Committee.

 Bob’s previous executive and board roles include Group Executive, Technology and Chief Information Officer of Westpac Group (2008 – 2011) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (2000 – 2006), Joint Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Multiplex Group, Chief Executive of State Street Australia, Chief General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of MLC Group, Chief Financial Officer of Lend Lease Corporation and Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of Alesco Corporation.

Andrew Holliday

Managing Director

Andrew is one of the principal shareholders of Finzsoft Solutions Limited.  He brings a wealth of merchant banking experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to his role as Managing Director.

Gary Sim


Gary is a Westpac Banking Corporation Senior Executive who joined the Finzsoft Board in October 2014. At Westpac, Mr Sim’s responsibilities were global and covered all of the Group’s brands (Westpac, St. George and BT) and its major infrastructure outsourcing agreements with IBM, Telstra, Oracle and Optus. In addition he chaired the bank’s major transformation programme steering committees, strategic supplier governance forums and led the infrastructure planning and strategy team.


Simon Scott

Alternate Director

Mr Scott is a qualified lawyer and a former Partner of Bogers Scott Shortland Lawyers, and has over twenty years’ experience in legal practice.

Mr Scott was previously the Chairman and is currently an Executive Director and the Chief Executive of First Credit Union. Mr Scott is also a Director of First Insurance Limited and a Trustee of St Francis Charitable Trust Board. He has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Waikato.


Helen Hatchard

Non-Executive Director

Helen is the Chief Executive and Executive Director of New Zealand’s largest industrial based Credit Union – the Police Credit Union and joined the Finzsoft Board as a non-independent, non-executive Director in December 2018. Helen has 15 years’ senior/executive experience in the banking and finance industry spanning consumer, private and business banking divisions


J A Grierson

Deputy Chairman

J A Grierson majored in Economics at the University of Oxford then pursued a career in corporate strategy, finance, equity investment and as an entrepreneur. On graduating from Oxford, she joined Boston based corporate strategy consulting firm, Bain & Co, where she advised multi-billion dollar, multi-national corporates.  From Bain she moved into corporate finance with a leading UK investment bank and was responsible for identifying, valuing and listing high growth companies on the main board of the London Stock Exchange.

On leaving the bank, she moved into venture capital investment where she managed institutional funds, from initial investment to exit, and sat on the boards of investee companies. One of the funds she managed was dedicated to software investment.  On returning to her native New Zealand, she was appointed a Full Member of The Commerce Commission.  After completing her term as a Commissioner, she pursued a career in network industries as a line manager, director and consultant and was a member of an Expert Advisory Group to the Minister of Local Government on how to improve the efficiency of more than $100 billion of local government owned infrastructure. 

She has a Master of Creative Writing and co-founded the boutique publisher, Cloud Ink Press Ltd.

Her first novel is due to be published in 2019.
